Michael Fasolo

Michael was the project lead assigned to inspect and coordinate a team of 25+ consultants, engineers, and industrial hygienists at Plymouth Harbor Senior Living Facility along with multiple airports and luxury condos in Florida with repair estimates ranging from$200K to over $12M. To incorporate local construction rates, needs, and costs, and ensure precise repair estimates and timely claim resolutions he orchestrated an agreement with public adjusters and contractors to facilitate both immediate and long-term recovery efforts. Working closely with HOAs, government and safety authorities, and carriers, Michael supervised remediation and waste disposal costs in addition to abatement/debris removal budgets and timelines to the project’s end.

Michael led a disaster triage inspection at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, FL, with claim repairs estimated at approximately $350K. He established safety, environmental, and abatement/debris removal budgets and timelines. Detailed reports were generated, incorporating collected data to create accurate repair estimates and facilitate timely claim resolutions to satisfy the front office administration and match fan expectations.

Over the course of assessing significant wind damage to a high-end residential dwelling, Michael led a team of three consultants to include abatement and moisture reduction goals for extensive roof damage, compromised windows/doors, and substantial water intrusion. Michael’s oversight of inspections with mitigation experts, industrial hygienists, and contents-pack out vendors allowed the team to perform specialized pricing research for high-value custom cabinetry, sourced from NYC, which required certified installers. Having successfully negotiated an agreed scope and cost with the contractor for a repair estimate valued at $1.8M, he coordinated timely, accurate, and effective communication through project completion.

Managing collaboration and upholding construction financials, means and method, and building schedules were some of Michael’s managing duties for lead consultant. Navigating teams of hygienists, engineers, as well as local safety and governing bodies Michael communicated often with carriers which led to accurate repair estimates totaling approximately $1.75M.

Michael was the lead consultant overseeing follow-up inspections that were monitored and reviewed for accurate documentation and assessment of damage. Michael worked with the Rays front office management and directed oversite of debris removal and construction schedules while adhering to the expectations of the fan experience to ensure an agreed scope and repairs estimate of $2.5M.

As the project lead, Michael coordinated multiple teams ranging up to 20+ consultants to inspect various structures in Louisiana, which included commercial/industrial manufacturers, hotels/motels, country clubs, restaurants, churches, shopping centers, car dealerships, and municipal/school buildings. Working closely with carriers and syndicates, governing bodies, and local authorities, Michael established safety and environmental checks and oversaw abatement/debris removal budgets and timelines to ensure accurate repair estimates ranging from $200K to over $55M. Comprehensive reports were compiled incorporating local industry costs ensuring precise estimates and timely claim resolutions to facilitate both immediate and long-term recovery efforts. In joint association with public adjusters, contractors, and carriers, Michael was sure to include business disruption measures within the established NTE caps.

From dissecting soft costs to scrutinizing contracts, Michael’s focus extended beyond the surface, seeking creative ways to keep communication open amongst public adjusters, contractors, and carriers. To agree on repair scopes with costs ranging from $200K to $15M+, he managed 20+ consultants holding them accountable for assessing, documenting, and scoping the damage impact on industrial manufacturing buildings, restaurants, luxury condos, churches, shopping centers, school buildings, and other commercial structures. Evaluating drying objectives and assessing progress often gave Michael an advantage to facilitate timely agreement between carrier clients and project teams.
