Worked closely with municipality, fire department, and investigators for a new construction Builders’ Risk. Review of drying goals and mitigation budget to reduce business interruption for a multi-unit residential building affecting six (6) units. Addressed safety and environmental concerns with a team of hygienists and engineers to assess damages consistent with electrical fire and smoke.

Through firsthand research, Mark provided an accurate scope for damages consistent with fire to a multi-story (3) residential building. As the General Contractor, Mark worked with teams of vendors to safely prepare the site for on-time reconstruction, which was estimated to cost $2.5M.

As a construction consultant, Mark joined efforts with municipalities, environmental crews, and teams of engineers and general contractors to determine accurate scopes and estimates ranging in complexity and value. Acting as the liaison between several high-rise hotel projects, carriers, and emergency personnel to negotiate essential personnel status for vendors to keep projects running on schedule and within estimated budgets.

Consulting for a historic estate affected by fire, Mark facilitated building preservation efforts with architects, contractors, and adjusters. Providing expert budgeting, oversight, and scope agreement, he monitored construction progress over three years by managing schedules, timelines, means/methods, and contractor coordination to ensure accurate cost estimates and project alignment. $20M+.
